Tianmu are known for their scenery and the misty covered slopes. The tea is grown there in the valleys, where it is misty most of the time. This gives the tea its unique taste and appearance. This tea is manufactured under shou-mei principles, of being sun-dried and subjected to a minimum amount of processing. This allows the tea’s color and aromato be as close as possible to those of fresh leaves. The tea leaves are virtually whole with many buds and slight hairy down which are from very careful hand rolling and sorting.
