Our Golden Tuo Cha is made with an unblended grade of Pu-erh tea that has an abundance of tender buds and young tea sprouts that are hand harvested from the ancient tea trees of Jingmai Mangjing. Our 100% Organic Ancient Golden Tuo Cha is exclusive to Rishi and made with more tea than a typical mini tuo cha as well as from higher grade teas. Its liquor is thick, bold and deeply flavored. Designed for steeping in 12-16 ounces of water for 4-5 minutes, this tea can also be infused in a small teapot or guywan for a shorter time. One single Golden Tuo Cha will yield many infusions. It has robust flavors of unsweetened chocolate, as well as espresso- with a very smooth finish and aromatic notes of wood, camphor and buckwheat honey.
