About Us

Let’s Talk Motherhood was founded by Shannon Clay.   As a mother, Shannon realized early on that motherhood wasn’t always easy.  What she couldn’t understand was that nobody seemed to be talking about how difficult it really was.

It soon became her passion to educate new mothers about the challenges they will face, and to speak openly and honestly about the joys and hardships of adjusting to new motherhood.

Shannon holds an MA in Communication from Pepperdine University, and a BA in Communication & Psychology from the University of Southern California.  She
worked as an advertising professional until her first child was born, and now devotes her time to helping new mothers.

Shannon lives in the suburbs of Colorado with her husband and their two boys.
